The breast health center of Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital was opened on 26.04.2018.
Breast cancer is one of the major risk types of cancer in women. This center will provide our women with an opportunity for early diagnosis. It is an example center that can perform both breast surgery and ultrasound diagnosis and pathology.
Center will serve 90-100 patients per day
The outpatient clinic consists of a total of 7 rooms and a waiting room, including breast surgery, biopsy and pathology assessment, breast USG and workstation, mammography and MRI reading, mammography, patient preparation, tomosynthesis and stereotaxis chambers.
For the patients waiting in the outpatient clinic, there are about 30 patients waiting chairs in the waiting room.
At the same time, there is a general MR evaluation room of the radiology unit in the region where the Surgical Breast Polyclinic is located.
A total of 90-100 patients per day are examined in the Surgery Breast Polyclinic, 50 mammography, 80 breast USG, 10 breast MRI, 30 breast biopsy and 1-2 stereotaxis are performed.
