The Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research
Hospital Children's Clinic is a 2-storey building with 37 beds and 4 incubation
capacities. On the ground floor there are infectious diseases service, child
nephrology sub-branch policlinic, resident doctor room, principal chamber and
specialist doctor rooms.
On the first floor there is a large child care service and a dairy child
service newborn intensive care unit, laboratory, assistant and specialist
doctors' rooms. Yenidoğan intensive care unit is the first level YYBU and has 4
incubators, 1 open bed, 4 ventilator devices, 4 phototherapy devices and 1
ventilated transport incubator. Problematic infants born in our hospital are
accepted first, and newborn babies can be taken from other hospitals only by
interview when service is available.
In the morning, residents, specialists and supervisor visits are held on
Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11: 00-13: 00. For this reason, it is best to
have interviews with physicians between 15:00 and 16:00. These hours are the
result confirmation hours of the laboratory tests that were requested that
morning.
'' Emergency outpatient clinic '' services are carried out by pediatricians on
duty at '' Pediatric Emergency Service '' next to Vehbi Koç Emergency Medical
Center. The Pediatric Emergency Department consists of an emergency
examination, observation rooms, a resuscitation room, an assistant and nursing
rooms and a breastfeeding room. The pediatric emergency department is a
third-level emergency department, with two green field examination beds, 10
beds (3 large and 7 small beds) and a defibrillator. There are 9 nurses in the
unit and two nurses in the night shifts. There is a large common waiting room
in front of the children's emergency policlinic. Polyclinic services are on the
first floor of the policlinic building between 08: 00-17: 00. This service is
carried out in the Family Health Centers in order to prevent children from
being monitored in our clinic. The breastfeeding room is located on the 1st
floor of the policlinic building.
Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research
Hospital is located in the Yal Millenni District Polklini and the Validebağ
Additional Service Basement. There are one child polklini and services between
08: 00-17: 00 on weekdays.
There is no patient visit at the communicable diseases service. Other services
include visits between 14:00 and 15:00 on weekdays and Saturdays between 19:00
and 20:00 and Sundays between 13:00 and 16:00. It is necessary for their health
to not bring small children to their patient visits.
Newborn Hearing Screening Program
Every baby born in our hospital is routinely provided with the purpose of
directing the hearing screenings to the centers where they are connected for
definite diagnosis, hearing aid application and rehabilitation so that the
newborn hearing screening program can detect the babies born with hearing
impairment early.
Auto Acoustic Emission Test and Automatic BERA are performed by our hospital's
Otorhinolaryngology Clinic. OABR is made for every baby born in our hospital
and who has not completed the 3 months that are in love.
In our country, 1 to 3 of every 1000 babies are born with innate hearing
impairment. In this context, hearing loss in children who are born with hearing
loss or who are found to have hearing loss in the postpartum period can be
diagnosed early by the Ministry of Health for the diagnosis and treatment of
the hearing loss by early identification of the child as a psychologically and
socially healthy individual without affecting speech development, Having hearing
tests in the scope of the Newborn Hearing Screening Program is of great
importance.
